News Release:  Pikes Peak Chapter #20, August 13, 2009

The Pikes Peak Chapter held its August meeting at Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs. Our guest speaker was Major General (USAFR Ret) Mason Whitney, Director of the Colorado Governor’s Office of Homeland Security.  General Whitney gave a presentation on the structure and mission of the Homeland Security office, and identified the office’s objectives, activities, and liaison agencies throughout Colorado.  The session was well attended and questions from the audience flowed freely.
