Chapter / Meeting Information

We have six meetings a year: February, April, June, August, October, December. We meet on the second Thursday of these months for a lunch business meeting/seminar session. The time is 11:30 to 1:00. Members may bring guests.  Note:  The meetings for this year have been adjusted to July 16 (Friday), August 12, September 16, and December (TBD).

Meeting fees vary with the cost of the lunch, typically $10 to $15, and lunches vary from sub-style sandwiches to a catered service. Meeting RSVPs can be made by responding to the meeting notification email or by notifying any Chapter officer no later than the Tuesday prior to the meeting. Last minute additions can usually be accommodated.  If you RSVP and state “No Lunch” there is no meeting fee.  We currently take cash or check only.

For Certified members, we automatically submit attendance rosters to ASIS International for you to be evaluated for certification credits.

To be a full voting member of the Chapter, you must also be a member of ASIS International.  Annual Chapter dues are $25.00 and cover January through December. Students pursuing a degree in a security-related field may also join both ASIS International and the Pikes Peak Chapter.  Student Chapter dues are $5.00 annually and meeting fees are a flat $7.00.  Receipts are available for dues and meeting fees. Professionals from other security organizations and ASIS Chapters will be recognized as “associated” members with all but voting rights.
