News Release:  Pikes Peak Chapter #20, June 12, 2008

The Pikes Peak Chapter held its June meeting at Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs. Our guest speaker was John Baker who presented information concerning known terrorist groups in Colorado, suicide bombing techniques, and the role of security professionals and civilians in reporting questionable activities. The one-hour lesson was opened up to the group for questions.

John has his own consulting business, Ranger Consulting. He is a certified instructor for hazard awareness and WMD Risk Threat Assessment, as well as incident response to terrorist bombings and prevention of suicide bombings.  John handed out information regarding the Colorado Information Analysis Center (CIAC www.ciac.gov ) which is a resource for reporting suspicious activities.
