News Release:  Pikes Peak Chapter #20, November 13, 2008

The Pikes Peak Chapter held its November meeting at Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs.  Our guest speaker was Kimberly Bjorndahl, Senior Crime Analyist for the Metro Forensics Crime Lab. Kim presented what appeared to be a murder case to the members and coached them through solving it (this was an actual, but closed case, and the photos she presented were evidence photos).

Kim also discussed how she testifies as a forensics expert, gave examples of cases she has worked on, answered direct questions from the audience, and explained the different areas of expertise the Crime Lab provides. The Metro Crime Lab serves both the City of Colorado Springs and the neighboring counties.  The session lasted almost 90 minutes.
